My Birthday...

So, its that time of year again... This year I've laid off a bit on the birthday celebrations (last year I had 6 parties in 6 cities) and am having my party Sunday night at The Bank inside the Bellagio. Come hang out, I'd love to see ya! I also want to extend birthday wishes out to my girl Drea, and my boy, rude boy!

A hectic day..

I'm sick.. I think I mentioned that in my emailer earlier today. So sick that I should have been in bed all day. Instead, I have driven all over southern california and back.. Why, you ask? Somehow in the crazy schedule that I keep I failed to write in "renew drivers license". My license is still in CA, so I paired my renewal trip along with picking up a quarter million business cards from our printer in irvine. I planned all this out last friday. No idea I was going to come down with the flu.. :(

So I get to dmv in barstow only to be told that I have a faiure to appear that needs to be cleared up in la county. it was from a fixit ticket in 05. That very day was the day I totalled my car. Somehow the fixit ticket slipped my mind.

On the way into LA, I called the courthouse to see what I neededd to do to get it cleared. They transferred me to collections where I was transferred around about 5 more times. They wanted me to pay 1300 for the fixit and told me that was my only option. When I stated that I would go to la county and see that they had to say, a supervisor cut into the call and started being verbally abusive and threatening more penalties if not paid by 2pm. Rather distraught by the call, I made the trek downtown.

When I got there, I waited in line for what seemed like ages (why Is it that when you're sick time slows down and when you're having fun, it flies?) Until I got to the window and the lady told me I could reschedule a court date. That dumb broad on the phone; I can't believe her lies!

I jumped in my car again and picked up the cards in irvine. Then I hightailed it back to barstow to get my license. Um yeah, right.
She tells me I have to take the test and that they don't give it out after 430. Its 445. Luckily for me, she gave me a 2 month extension.

And now I'm driving the last 2 hours to get home and crawl into bed. I have to be better by tomorrow. I have too many birthday plans and fights to shoot!!!

Woe is me... Lol

Just got home from the Groove Cruise out of Miami.. It was an absolute blast!! Here are some camera phone pics I took along the way. My phone wasn't working for part of the trip, so you may see some gaps in this time line...

Is totally off the hook so far! Almost 400 people all partying having a good time... We just got off the beach in coco cay and back on the boat. I'm trying to convince people that theres an impromptu TOGA party right now, we'll see if anyone listens...

God I've been busy...

So busy I haven't been able to get the TTT up yesterday or today... Look for a new one tomorrow. In the mean time i'll blog from my phone if I can...

Weird adventure for the day..

I went to lunch with my friend shimmy who is visiting from puerto rico. We ate dim sum in china town and then ended up deciding to get back massages. In china town of all places. So I'm sitting on the table, waiting for the lady that gave me the once and then twice over to tell me she liked me (it was really weird), to come in and give me my massage. I'm kind of scared, tell you the truth, and not quite sure what to expect, lol.. Updates later!!

Oh and, about Cloverfield last night? I watched 15 minutes of it before getting so motion sick because its filmed in first person from the viewpoint of a drunk best friend at a party. I don't know if it changes at some point, but I couldn't handle it, so I left...

A night off at the movies...

So the movie, Cloverfield has been previewing for MONTHS but it never had a name in the preview. So when I decided I wanted to see a movie, I had NO clue what cloverfield was. Well, its opening night, 1145pm, and corey and I are sitting in a completely packed theater waiting for it to start. Ill have an update tomorrow on whether or not it was worth the 4 months wait..

Oh yeah... Next week is Groove Cruise... First Stop, preparty!

Jet and Cathouse last night!

I was nominated for "Most Likely to write her breast implants off on her taxes" for an event that Jackcolton.com was involved in at JET Nightclub. Appropriately called 9 to 5, this event was from 9pm, to 5am! I showed up a bit late (I should have won the "most likely to be late" category); Just in time to walk to red carpet with the rest of the nominees. We partied and hung out for an hour and a half till the contest began. I was pretty sure I didn't win (much of the contest was based on an online vote) and sure enough I was right. So I hightailed it out of there over to Cathouse for Madam Mondays where I hung out with the guys from American Storm and Thunder from Down Under for the rest of the night. It was a fun night out and here are some pics to prove it!
